This is home screen device and not the appliance, please scan the directions on a way to use the widget:

Older phones (before android four.0 ICS):

To add a device, bit associated hold an empty location on a home-screen. Menu can pop-up, select Widgets out of many.

Advanced phones and tablets, Android 4.0 and above.

Touch the All Apps icon on your Home screen.

Click “Widgets” tab at the highest of the screen.

From the most Widgets screen, you'll be able to keep swiping until you discover this app widget

Tap and keep hold the specified widget’s icon, slide your finger wherever you would like to put it, and elevate your finger.

Note:

Do NOT move this app to Mount Rushmore State-card! Widgets will not work once you progress them to SD card.

Please exclude this device from any task killers, this can resolve the time state change issue in most instances.
